Often called fashion's biggest night, the Met Gala is back. The who's who of the entertainment industry wear some pretty interesting attire all in the name of charity.
The black tie charity event took place on Monday. Normally it would be the first Monday in May, yet the pandemic strikes again.
The Met Gala is a fundraising event for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. The Gen-Z held it down this year as hosts including Amanda Gorman, Naomi Osaka and Billie Eilish. The event itself was not as large this year with the guest list being about a third smaller than usual.
The theme for this year was American Independence. Check out some of the looks below.
Wanna go? Tickets start at $35,000 a piece and $200,000-$300,000 for a table.
Since 1995 Met Gala chairwoman Anna Wintour has been able to turn the gala from a local humanitarian event to a worldwide fashion phenomenon.
