That's right. The "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star, Porsha Williams, has officially filed for divorce from her husband, Simon Guobadia after a little over a year.
Williams and her husband tied the knot in November of 2022 after dating and engaging in May 2021. According to court documents obtained by People, Porsha has filed to call the marriage quits. #letstalkaboutit

The pair's relationship has an intense timeline stemming from RHOA. It was confirmed that Guobadia had popped the question after only a month of dating the same day Williams confirmed her romance with former RHOA co-star Falynn Pina.
Porsha was sure to stress that her and Guobadia's relationship was totally unrelated to his and Pina's divorce. Williams has also claimed that her and Pina are "not friends" even though she was introduced on RHOA as Williams' friend.
Williams claims that she and Guobadia were simply at the "same place" at the "same time.
"I met a man who was at the same place that I was, at the same time," she said. "Mentally, spiritually and in love. ..... So, as soon as we started talking, you're talking to a man who has done 175 hours of therapy and has truly looked at all his mistakes and had turned around to be for the better. When you meet someone in that space, you are going to be in like company."
We receive this news alongside rumors that Guobadia was denied permanent residency in the United States due to criminal record. Reportedly, he's appealing this decision. Nonetheless, an inside source told People that this is also unrelated to the split, and that their cause is an "ongoing matter." Sounds like #troubleinparadise.
Speaking of paradise, Porsha took to social media a week ago to share what seemed like a luxurious vacay in Dubai.
Given the news that has surfaced about the divorce, Williams' Instagram post can put a lot into perspective. Things are not always quite as they seem.
In other news, it was not only confirmed that Williams would be rejoining the cast of RHOA, but she had also signed a comprehensive talent deal with NBCUniversal Entertainment. With this deal, she'll be able to collaborate with NBCUniversal for scripted projects for the company's broadcast and streaming platforms. Another thing she can check off her list! #clapsforporsha
She excitedly shares the great news with Instagram followers.
Williams first joined RHOA in its fifth season and left in the thirteenth. After leaving, she appeared alongside Guobadia on Porsha's Family Matters in 2021.
ET also previously learned that the cast in the upcoming season would look a lot different from others.
"A major shakeup is coming to The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Before the women filmed their recent reunion, they were told that they should expect a big change with the franchise moving forward," an inside source told ET. "The cast is on edge about their future and has no idea where the network plans to go," the source added. "Although their ratings are still strong, the network is listening to fans and their desire for a change."
There's a lot in store for Porsha, but we are excited to see her walk into her next chapter! #newbeginnings #RHOA #Porshawilliams
Well, that was quick. She had no business marrying this man anyway.
