LSU Star Flau'jae Johnson is taking time out of her busy March Madness schedule to give back to families in Louisiana. The basketball player/rapper teamed up with Experian to help wipe out $5 million in debt for Louisiana families.

An announcement was made on Friday, March 14, that Johnson will serve as a spokesperson for the initiative that will directly benefit 5,000 families in the state. She will appear in five ads for the company showing its commitment to wipe out $5 million in consumer debt in LSU’s home state of Louisiana and erase another $100,000 each time the Tigers win a game in the NCAA women’s tournament—capped at $500,000 even if they win all of their games.

In a press release, she says, “It’s hard to create a winning financial game plan when you are blocked by debt. I am excited to partner with Experian to empower families in the state and across the country so they can become financial champions of their future.”

The announcement came just days ahead of the 2025 NCAA women's basketball tournament. Despite an injury that knocked Johnson out of the SEC Tournament, she is expected to play in the NCAA tournament.
