Jamie Foxx Opens Up About Mysterious Medical Emergency

A video circulating around social media shows actor and musician Jamie Foxx explaining what led him to his mysterious hospital visit last year. The Oscar-winning actor was hospitalized in April 2023 for a health crisis while he was filming the Netflix film “Back in Action” in Atlanta.

In a video posted to TikTok, Foxx told an unidentified group of people that he had a “bad headache” on April 11, 2023. And that he recalls asking his friend for an Advil and then “I was gone for 20 days”.

“Look, April 11 last year, bad headache, asked my boy for an Advil. I was gone for 20 days,” he said in the video.

He also expressed how he does not remember anything. Foxx then went on to explain in the footage that he was told his sister and his daughter took him to a doctor, who gave him a cortisone shot. And another doctor told him something was “going on up there,” Foxx said, pointing to his head.

Fox did not go into details about what caused the hospitalization or any diagnosis but at the time of the incident, his daughter Corinne Foxx called it a medical complication. Even though he would not give much information on his illness, he did say he was finally “on the road to recovery.”
