An Atlanta rapper and the Black Music Action Coalition have teamed up to offer support to families in Georgia. Gunna and the Black Music Action Coalition have launched the Gunna x BMAC 30349 Guaranteed Income Program.
The $500,000 program will provide 30 families in South Fulton, Georgia, with a $1,000 monthly stipend for a year, starting on Sept. 18. The initiative is focused on families in the 30349 area code and aims to show how teamwork and fresh ideas can create real change locally. In addition to the monthly payments, families will also receive support services.
“When I launched Gunna’s Great Giveaway, my goal was to uplift my hometown by providing resources that could make a tangible difference in at least one household. Partnering with BMAC to introduce the Guaranteed Income program in South Fulton is a significant step toward enhancing these communities and transforming the economic landscape of the city," Gunna said in a statement.
