Angela Bassett has reportedly received a massive raise to the tune of at least $450,00 per episode for her hit series "9-1-1." Auntie Ang (that's what I call her) has starred on all 4 seasons of the Fox show. Angela helped develop the series with creator Ryan Murphy and serves as an executive producer for it as well as its spinoff 9-1-1: Lone Star.

If the amount is indeed accurate, Angela would be making major history. The Oscar nominated actress would become the highest paid actress of color on a broadcast drama series and be among the top paid actors, male or female on network television.
According to Deadline, all of the show's regulars received 25 percent pay increases after extensive negotiations with Angela leading the way.

9-1-1- follows the shocking, unpredictable and often frightening experiences of Los Angeles first responders, including firefighters, dispatchers and police officers. Season 5 of 9-1-1 premieres Sept 20th on Fox.
